Habitat GSF broke ground on Geneva Village in May. Located on the site of a former fire house in Daly City – this parcel is a perfect example of how to develop a hard-to-use site that commercial developers struggled to make viable. These six decently-sized, transit oriented, affordable family homes will be in a city that serves beautifully as a connection between San Francisco and the Peninsula. Join SF YMF and volunteer to help! Framing of floors and walls is currently ongoing at the site, and an update on volunteer tasks will be provided as the date approaches. Habitat for Humanity will provide hard hats and goggles. Volunteers are required to bring their own gloves, face masks, lunch, and water. ASCE SF YMF will provide snacks and hand sanitizer for volunteers. Please contact the Philanthropy Chair (max.are.menta@gmail.com) with any questions or for coordination on purchasing gloves.
