About the event
About the Speaker:
Brad Bonde has been working in the construction industry since 2012 and has spent the last 5.5 years with Rudolph and Sletten managing a combination of hospital projects and commercial TI's. As a Project Manager, his primary duties include negotiating and administrating contracts, supervising superintendents and engineers, monitoring job costs and schedules, and working closely with architects and owners to ensure their projects are completed on time and within budget.
Brad completed both his bachelor's degree and master's degree in civil engineering from UC Berkeley.
About the Project:
The Costa Mesa Fairview Development Center was a fast paced Design Build Project where Rudolph & Sletten was brought on board by the California Department of General Services (DGS) in order to recommission 6 previously unused buildings to allow for them to be used to treat Tier 2 Patients (Hospitalized (non-ICU) patients and long-term care residents with unexplained fever and signs/symptoms). This 7.5 million dollar project took place over the course of just 13 days and resulted in 6 completely operational buildings with the capacity to serve 516 patients.
