1. We have a new officer board! You can learn more about the new leadership team here.
2. We held our monthly General Body Meeting at CE&G in Walnut Creek. We introduced the September events and discussed some of our August events, including the Oakland A's game and Bike Ride across the Golden Gate Bridge.
3. We went camping at Point Reyes from September 14 to 16. We had a blast, although a few of us were exhausted from carrying the heavy equipment!
4. Three of us (Joyce, PJ, and Nancy) presented at UC Berkeley's ASCE General Meeting on September 20. They talked about their background, profession, and how young engineers can be more involved in the engineering community.
5. We went river rafting on the American River on September 22. We had a great time cruising down the river in the sun.
We appreciate everyone who attended our events in September. We look forward to doing more fun activities in the fall, including Oktoberfest and workshops with college students. Many of us will be studying for the PE in October, so we also wish those who are taking it the best of luck!
