The Past-President is the primary liaison between the YMF Board and the Section Board. He/She communicates on behalf of YMF with updates on events, financial status, university and community involvement, and requests for assistance from the Section.


The President is the backbone and motivating force for the YMF and has general supervision of the affairs of YMF, and its officers and members. The President presides at YMF Board meetings.


The Vice President is responsible for recruiting and retaining new membership. He/She assists the President in his/her duties and aids in event planning.


The Treasurer is the manager of the YMF financials. He/She is responsible for overseeing all financial matters including budgeting for events and fundraising, and must ensure YMF stays within its budget.


The Secretary is responsible for all YMF written records of upcoming events. He/She oversees all written material, keeps minutes at the YMF officer meetings, coordinates updates to the website, and is responsible for overseeing the submissions to the Section newsletter for advertisement of upcoming events.


The Marketing Director is responsible for all advertising and publication of events. He/She consolidates all event information and ensures that it is posted to all appropriate forums including Facebook, LinkedIn, website and Google Calendar.


The Historian is responsible for all YMF written records of past events. He/She oversees all reports of events for record-keeping in the Annual Report, YMF website, newsletters, and Award Banquet.


The Webmaster is responsible for maintaining the YMF website. He/She updates contact information, announcements of upcoming and past YMF events, and all other links on the website. The Webmaster maintains the YMF mailing list and oversee email announcements.
