Requirements
The requirements for Project Engineer are:
Master's Degree in Structural Engineering and 5+ years relevant experience.
California Civil Engineering license (PE) required.
Registration as a Structural Engineer in California (SE) is preferred.
Must have a background related to structural/seismic engineering and demonstrated ability to perform complex structural calculations, to work independently with minimal direction from senior technical staff, to supervise and mentor junior technical staff, and to interact effectively with clients and project team members outside of the firm.
Active participation in professional activities related to structural or earthquake engineering is a plus.
The requirements for Design Engineer are:
Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering with 3+ years of professional experience related to structural/seismic engineering.
California Civil Engineering license (PE) required.
Demonstrated ability to perform detailed structural calculations, to work independently with limited direction from senior technical staff, to provide limited direction to junior technical staff, and to interact effectively with clients and project team members outside of the firm.
Active participation in professional activities related to structural or earthquake engineering is a plus.
